The aim is to give a unique but scientifically founded explanation of what happens in the global political order by means of Global Polity Theory. The theory is build on theorems about power projection and the assumption that interdependencies between states forms a social order understood as Global Polity. Basically, theses mutual dependencies develop from what Duedney refers to as ‘violence interdependencies,’ where states seek security through managing the distribution of power amongst themselves in a complex global network. Understanding this framework for geopolitics and explaining focal points gives us an informed view on the world.
